De Spro Crank-N-Shad drijvende uitvoering is ideaal voor het trollen of voor de standaard werptechniek. Afhankelijk van de lengte van de lijn tussen de hengeltop en de plug duikt hij tot ca. 2-3m. De Crank-N-Shad 4” kan op verschillende manieren gevist worden: normaal binnendraaien, als een jerkbait of met een pop-en-stop actie. Maar voor deze plug is waarschijnlijk de beste en meest succesvolle techniek om hem met gematigde tot middelmatige snelheid tussen stenen en andere harde obstakels door te vissen. Dit geeft de plug grillige, levensechte actie van een prooivis in problemen.

The 4” floating SPRO CRANK N SHAD version is ideal for trolling or for the cast-and-retrieve method of fishing. Depending on the line diameter and the length of line between the rod tip and the lure it will dive down to 6-9ft. You can fish the 4” in a variety of ways: a straight retrieve, a jerking-motion or even give it a pop-and-stop action. But probably one of the best and most successful ways of fishing it is to crank it across rocks and hard obstacles at slow to medium speed to create a flaring action.
